The Blueprint for Inclusive Spaces.
A communication board is only as powerful as its accessibility. We provide the professional roadmap to ensure your board is perfectly placed, safely mounted, and built to last for generations.

The All-Important Reach Factor.
Our guide isn't just about height—it’s about intentional design. We provide specific measurements to ensure every child, regardless of age or mobility device, can access every symbol on the board.
ADA-Compliant Heights
We help you identify the "Golden Zone" for installation, preventing a board that is too high for young children or too low for wheelchair users.
Full Mobility Access
Our guidelines ensure clear ground space and approach angles, making spontaneous joyful interaction possible for everyone.
5 Modalities. Total Access.
Mechanical excellence for every installation environment.
1. Fence Mounting
High-security integration into existing perimeter chain-link or ornamental fencing.
- Heavy-duty U-bracket specifications
- Backing plate tensioning for mesh stability
- Lock-nut hardware for permanent security
2. Wall Mounting
Direct architectural mounting to facility exteriors or clinic interior walls.
- Expansion bolt sizing for masonry/brick
- Standoff guidelines for outdoor moisture control
- Flush-mount safety requirements for hallways
3. Equipment Integration
Retrofitting boards onto activity panels or existing play system structures.
- Safety clearance & impact zone radius
- Universal clamp-mount hardware specs
- Entrapment & protrusion hazard testing
4. Post Installation
The standard for open park spaces requiring a freestanding, permanent structure.
- Concrete footing depth (36" minimum recommended)
- Anti-rotation galvanized post specifications
- Ground clearance for accessibility compliance
5. Frame Systems
The ultimate protection: Aluminum channel-housing for maximum board longevity.
- Channel-lock security for board protection
- Structural wind-load engineering data
- Tamper-proof architectural framing

9 Critical Mistakes to Avoid.
Ensure your board stands the test of time by avoiding these frequent installation errors.
Adult-Eye Height
Installing at adult level makes symbols unreachable. Measure for the children's eye level to foster independent interaction.
Garden Blockage
Mulch beds or landscaping block access. Wheelchair users must have an unobstructed flat path directly to the board.
Partial Insertion
Boards not fully slid into all four frame sleeves can rattle, slip, or bow. Ensure the substrate is seated snugly on all sides.
Shallow Footings
Posts must be at least 2 feet underground for stability. Anything less risks the board leaning or tipping in high winds.
Skipping the Level
Eyeballing the alignment leads to tilted boards. Ensure the frame is perfectly square before drilling your security screws.
Poor Orientation
Facing boards directly south in hot climates can make the surface hot to touch. Orient for thermal comfort when possible.
Pre-Drill Gaps
Securing screws before the rails are fully seated is a common error. Ensure rails are snug against the inner wall of posts first.
Approach Hazards
Installing near trash cans or benches blocks the approach. Users need 360-degree maneuvering space for group play.
Missing Cement
Neglecting cement in high-traffic parks reduces longevity. Posts require at least 18 inches of cemented foundation for maximum stability.
The Final Safety Check.
Our 28-page guide ensures your project meets the highest standards for safety and inclusivity.
